Summary Inō Heitarō, a skilled young samurai in Bingo Province, enjoys a life of martial arts training, earning him the nickname "Inō's Little Tengu." But curiosity leads him and his friend Gonpachi to Mount Ōkuma, a site rumored to harbor a yōkai. What begins as a daring nocturnal venture quickly spirals into a waking nightmare when Heitarō's own home becomes the epicenter of inexplicable and terrifying phenomena. From levitating objects and spectral figures to disembodied horrors and insidious illusions, the supernatural forces relentlessly torment him. Servants flee, friends are driven to despair, and Heitarō finds himself isolated, his legendary courage pushed to its breaking point. He must withstand a relentless onslaught from an unseen, cunning foe, or succumb to a fate already sealed in this terrifying Demon King Story.
