Summary	Miki cherishes idyllic memories of Yukiko, a vibrant girl from a mandarin orchard village, always accompanied by her loyal horse, Dorian. A long-anticipated visit promises to rekindle these youthful fantasies, but Miki arrives to find Yukiko caught in a desperate bind: an archaic family debt threatens to force her into a marriage she despises with the village head’s son.
