Summary Ryūjirō Isogai, a samurai prodigy on a sacred warrior's pilgrimage to inherit a legendary sword style, finds his journey violently derailed. Instead of purifying his spirit, he falls prey to O-Tetsu Nawanawa, a formidable female bandit whose insidious charm traps him in a luxurious, yet suffocating, captivity. For three months, Ryūjirō’s honor erodes, his purpose fades, and his very soul teeters on the brink of corruption.

When dire dreams of his ailing master stir him to a desperate escape, Ryūjirō must navigate treacherous rivers, confront malevolent forces, and battle O-Tetsu's relentless surveillance. Every step towards freedom, every obstacle, drags him deeper into a web of deceit and danger, threatening not only his mission but his very identity as a warrior. He must sever the 'rope of life' that binds him and reclaim his destiny.
